Some times people have questions. I am a man with answers. Some of these questions, people have actually asked me, the others are informative. Can you tell them apart?

What is Zoo Street about?
Animals in a zoo. Still working on that elevator pitch. Email me if you can wrap it all up into one or two sexy sentences.

Who is Mitchell Wallace?
Growing up in Dallas, I learned to draw. One day I created a comic strip but I was not funny. I quit and pursued other interest–playing soccer and guitar (not at the same time). Years later, I told a joke. On a later date…

How did Zoo Street start?
…I tried to make someone smile. I drew a comic. It was well received. Thus, I continued to create more Zoo Street comics.
-
How often do you update?
Twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.
-
What are those sentences in the top right of the strip?
I called those the lagniappe, a little something extra. You might notice they don’t relate to the comic they are in, that’s because they don’t. They are lines taken from my life out of context, something funny someone said, song lyrics, inside jokes, etc.
-
How do the updates work?
From June 7, 2010, and forward all comics are written as stories. Each story starts with a stylized title page, then continues to a story of no more than approximately 24 comics and wrap up with a return message and a commercial break.
Any comic before June 7, is a mix between gag-style comic and never-ending saga.

Why are there no comics from 2007?
Technical difficulties. The webhosting expired. It took time to start from scratch again. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
-
Why did the art change in 2008?
Simply. I got better. The new characters were supposed to be unveiled on the first birthday of the comic. Eh…What’s the difference between a few years amongst friends?
