Kicking off the NFL season this year is the first-ever NFL parade for the NFC Championship rematch of the New Orleans Saints vs. the Minnesota Vikings. The NFL sponsors this party with New Orleans-style floats, rolling at 5pm, and a concert in Jackson Square with Dave Matthews Band and Taylor Swift performing.
With an estimated 85 percent of hotel rooms full through the weekend, this should be riotous. I expect downtown to be gridlocked and crazy.
